Consider Becoming a Foster
We are always in need of foster homes. Wild and Free Rescue does not have a building to house animals. Every animal that comes into our care is placed into a foster home until they are adopted. As a foster, all supplies will be provided for the animal(s) staying in your care. We will schedule and pay for all vet care required for the animal, and coordinate transport for appointments/meet and greets if needed. You are only required to take animals you are comfortable with and you have the right to say no at any time. Fostering animals helps us continue to do what we love- save lives.
Spread the Word
One of the most powerful things you can do for us is spreading the word. The more people know about us the more help we can get and the more animals we can help! Please tell your friends, family, and coworkers about us- Share posts and adoption profiles on social media: Your Facebook and instagram are all perfect ways to help advertise pets that are in need of a home and any other posts! By sharing posts and by word of mouth YOU could play a part in creating the perfect match for an animal in need of a forever family.
Donate – No donation is too small
We are a small volunteer run rescue that relies 100% on donations. We appreciate any form of donation whether it is monetary, or in the form of supplies. Every donation we receive goes towards bettering the lives of animals. Typically the medical cost for each animal we receive exceeds the cost of the adoption fee by double (sometimes more!). This is why every single penny donated is so important to us.

Volunteer in other ways
Help with transports. What you will do if you would like to help with transport is: Taking animals to and from vet appointments, picking up donations, delivering supplies to foster homes, picking up animals from various locations, taking animals from one foster home to a new one, etc. We strive to be very thorough and will provide you all the information needed to complete a transport comfortably.
Help with special events and fundraising is always welcome. Throughout the year we have many special events (brat frys, golf outing, adoption events, silent auction, etc.) that we would benefit from volunteer help with!
Help with our TNR program. The TNR program is really quite simple, but does require lots of helping hands. If you would like to help with TNR some of the responsibilities we need help with include: setting up and taking down traps, checking traps, changing out food and bedding, notifying the rescue if a trap is triggered, securing a trap with zip ties if triggered, etc.
Help with Cleaning. We always need help scrubbing down kennels/traps, cleaning food and water bowls, washing toys, sanitizing items, and especially laundry!
