Without judgment, we will be easily accessible to both people who want to participate in helping these loving animals, and people who need our help surrendering animals in need. Inspiring the community through education, participation, networking and funding we will help to decrease the population of homeless animals.

Save a Life

Why Adopt?

You will save a life.

Nearly one million adoptable cats and dogs are euthanized each year. By adopting, you can help decrease that number.

Adopting an animal helps more than just the animal you adopt.

By adopting, you free up space for another animal to be saved. The adoption fee you pay goes towards helping cover the cost of medical care and supplies.

You will change an animal's entire world.

Giving them a place to call home and unconditional love will change their life. Many animals that come through our rescue have never had a place to call home.

Get to know a pet before committing

You’ll have the option to foster a pet before committing to adopting. By fostering, you can see how the pet fits with your lifestyle and your family.

Vet care already provided

Every dog and cat that is adopted through us will be spayed/neutered prior to finalizing adoption, which saves you hundreds of dollars at the vet! Each animal is vaccinated for Rabies (if old enough) and started on their Distemper vaccine series before adoption.

Amy Alexander

Treasurer

I wanted to volunteer for an organization that was making a difference in the community that I have lived in all my life. Once I met the team at Wild & Free, I knew I wanted to be involved in some way to bring my talents and passion to their organization.

Kaycey Delrow

Events & Fundraising Coordinator

One of my favorite hobbies is rescue transports and trapping lost dogs. I love being able to make a difference in an animal’s life no matter how big or small.
