Non-Profit Rescue
Adopt a PetAdoption is important to us, however, it is even more important to us to find the best home for our available animals. Our intention is to find each animal the best home we can. To us at Wild and Free Rescue, quality is our TOP priority, rather than quantity. Our goal with adoptions is to match you with a forever companion that will fit your family and lifestyle.
COMMUNITY CENTERED
About Us
Wild and Free Rescue was officially founded in March, 2021 and gained 501c(3) non-profit status as of 04/21/2021. We are a foster based rescue in Wrightstown, WI but have foster homes throughout the Fox Valley and surrounding areas.
Wild and Free Rescue was founded because we saw that there was a void for a non-judgmental and approachable rescue in Wrightstown and its neighboring areas. We understand that there are many circumstances for why a pet needs to be surrendered and we want to make sure those pets have a safe place to go. Our goal is for those in need to feel confident and comfortable coming to us for help.

Tres
Domestic Short Hair
Kitten
Tres came to Wild & Free Rescue with his 4 other siblings very sick. We did not know if they would make it through the night. With great relief, all 5 kittens pulled through and we were able to find them a foster that nursed them back to health and gave them the love they so needed. Unfortunately, Tres has Feline Symblepharon. It is an adhesion between the bulbar or palpebral conjunctiva, cornea, and third eyelid. Tres did have surgery to correct is defect but once he healed, he still has a symblepharon present, but it does not seem to affect or bother him in anyway. Tres’s eye could get infected easier than your typical cat and might benefit from an immune system supplement, but it is not necessarily needed. He is still a very loving, playful kitten that is ready to take the next step and find his forever home. Do you have space in your heart and home for this little guy?

Services
What We Do

Rescuing Animals
We take in the unwanted, abused, abandoned, and loved pets who are in need of a new home.

Trap Neuter Release
We assist with spaying/neutering, and vaccinating feral cat colonies. When possible, we rehabilitate and place them into indoor homes as family pets.

Spay & Neuter
We strongly believe in spaying and neutering to reduce the population of homeless animals. Every dog and cat will be spayed or neutered before adoption is finalized.

Finding A Home
We strive to find each animal that comes into our care the best forever family that we can.
